Some designers you work with are very technically proficient. Others have a creative artistic background. With me you get both. Since an early age I was winning art contests. At the same time I had a deep interest in computers and have a Master's Degree in Technology. My undergraduate studies include a double Major in Marketing and Management and a Minor in Psychology. I understand that certain color patterns, word associations and designs can conjure emotion on different levels beyond aesthetics.

Web Design

The first thing that people ask me when in inquiring about web design is "how much do you charge?" The answer varies depending on the type and size of the site. The initial page design, the main home page, is the biggest charge because the work with that page gives me the theme of your site. In my work with this page I design your graphics, navigation tools, banners and color combinations. The other pages in your site cost considerably less because I am able to carry over most of the work from the home page. My designs include search engine optimization.

The "ballpark" answer for my charges are...
>home page: $150 to $350
>additional pages: $10 to $150
>updating and consultation is billed at $40.00 per hour

After a quick conversation with you about your web site expectations I can give you an accurate estimate.
If you search the Internet I think you will find that most designers usually charge 3 times what I charge.
I can usually have your site finished in the time frame of 1 week to a month depending on the size and your needs.

Hosting

What is hosting? The files of your web page must be accessible to others to view 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A server is a place where you "park" your web files for viewers to access 24/7. I can set your site up on your existing host or I can host you on my server. The hosting charge is $5.95 to $12.95 per month depending on your needs.
